Meet our Staff!

President – Charley Griffin
Feel free to contact me directly for answers to any of your title insurance questions. I have three decades of real estate title experience to pull from and over 25 total years working right here in Salina. It’s a great place to live, work, and raise a family! I grew up in Gardner, Kansas, and graduated from Pittsburg State University in 1970 with a degree in business administration. After serving 3 years in the Army, I entered the title industry in 1973 and founded Land Title Services, Inc. in 1981. Having served on the board of directors for the Saline County Cancer Society, the Salina Family YMCA, the Salina Area Chamber of Commerce and the Salina Arts Center, I have learned the importance of an entire community working together. I’m proud of Land Title Service’s part in that effort.

Executive Vice-President & Partner – Mike Hoppock
I have over two decades of experience in the banking industry and have served as a Vice-President for two local banks. Since graduating from Marymount College in Salina in 1978 with a degree in business and economics, I’ve been involved in the Salina community as a Trustee in the Salina Education Foundation, President of the Salina South Booster Club, on the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce, and Director for The Salina Credit Bureau. Closer – Karen Gebhardt
I can make your next real estate transaction a pleasant experience. It was a perfect fit for me to join Land Title Services as a closer after working for the Saline County Register of Deeds from 1993 to 1997. I provide friendly customer service, a keen eye for detail, and a warm smile!

Closer – Kim Mowery
I joined Land Title Services after seven years as a loan document preparation specialist with a major Kansas bank, processing all types of commercial, consumer, and real estate loans. My attention-to-detail, experience in real estate loans, and relationship with local lenders, enables me to smooth out the wrinkles that sometimes occur in real estate closings. I also enjoy my involvement with the Salina Community Theatre and our local chapter of Noon Network Ambucs.

Title Examiner & Licensed Title Agent – Theresa McKinney
For over a dozen years, I’ve been examining the chain of title on real estate property to determine if there are any problems that might constitute a lien on the property. As such, a considerable amount of time is spent working with the Register of Deeds, the District Court, owners, lenders, closing agents, realtors, and attorneys to make sure each issue is addressed as quickly and efficiently as possible. I've been at Land Title Services for over fifteen years, the last seven as a Title Examiner. While every project is unique, experience is critical in this work to make sure potential problems are identified and taken care of before title is transferred.
